Abstract It is well known that sulfonamide derivatives, through exchange of different functional groups without modification the –S(O) 2 N(H)– function, can exhibit a wide variety pharmacological activities. In addition, some metal complexes these ligands have been prepared to promote rapid healing burns in humans and animals, for example, complex Zn( ii ) sulfadiazine. Their effectiveness does not depend solely on slow release ion, but rather strongly nature material which bound.
